I am a lifelong sports fan, yes, a member of Red Sox Nation, but more importantly, a student of baseball. Trying to transition my career from computer programmer to writer/blogger isn't easy - especially these days. But baseball keeps every day interesting for me. I have opinions and insights that I love to share. I also do considerable research into baseball and will contribute my occasional analysis.

    Orr - Both dominated the game, Orr was magical

    Pele - Incredible skills, esteemed ambassador for the sport

    Sampras - seemed humble and reverent

    Tiger - Nicklaus was great, but Tiger is almost inhuman.
