About

I grew up in Wisconsin and love hockey and football. That means I love the Green Bay Packers but had no long-standing loyalty in hockey. I switched from Chicago to Minnesota when they came into the league and to San Jose when I moved out here.

I hate dirty players almost as much as people who equate their opinions to fact, whether in sports or fundamentalists of some religion or political view. I want to lend my support to my friends as a counter-balance to that low-hanging fruit that proliferates blogs--it is literally all I signed up for. If only people could disagree but respect the well-thought-out views of others...

For the record, I think the Packers were dumb not to sign Flynn—we only have two QBs and he's at least as good as one of them...and better than a few starters

Wish you hadn't clued me into this, Stanley...it just brought the whole frustration up again. It is this kind of hostility (inappropriate between fellow members of the Packer family) that is at the root of my near-departure from this site, though I am also finding it difficult to use with my outdated computer—as you can see below, I also seem to be having the same trouble deleting a comment you did.

That would be me, I am still under my own name and I have already apologized for not letting it go. Deriding someone for not agreeing with you kind of engenders an "I told you so" response when your proven wrong, but my responses also constituted derision over disagreement so let me make it clear in case I didn't before since it seems this was not resolved for L:

I am sorry for crossing the line, I am sorry that this conflict was revived and even that my assertion that Flynn would never be better than Chad Pennington offended you in the first place. Can we let this die now?

    Woops.

Sorry man. I thought you were someone else who has seriously been hammering on a Matt Flynn debate every so often and it has been going on since he was released by the Packers. I don't even remember the last time I even LEFT a comment on bleacherreport. So I just assumed you were him under another name.

I'm trying to think of a word that conveys how pathetic it is when someone's life is altered so much by a meaningless debate online as to renew said argument over the course of 3? years . . . and it's just not coming to me.

I hope the vindication you feel in being proven right allows you to leave the tortuous mental cell your consciousness and self esteem must dwell. I wish you luck in finally moving on knowing that you stood vigilant for three years in order to say I told you so, and tackle your next problem of getting over what is obviously a super sensitive ego coupled with a raging case of internet stalking.

tl;dr: Jesus CHRIST you're fucking pathetic.
