Justin, no cause for panic. They aren't going to lose all of that. If anything, they might lose Watson, but that's not even likely. The reason people are saying they will is that Reinsdorf hasn't traditionally gone into the luxury tax, but he has said he will if he feels the team has championship potential, and they do. They wouldn't have to go heavily into the tax to keep everyone either.

Sam Smith, who knows more about basketball than anyone not named Tom Thobideau, seems pretty confident the team isn't going to be broken up. So am I.

    Hey Justin,

I did a realistic breakdown of Luol Deng, and whether he really is an All-Star, and if he's any better than he was in the past. I would love to hear your thoughts on it. Thanks.

Justin, I am writing for the Bears because, as a writer, I want to be able to write about other teams than just one NFL team (the team I'm a fan of). I'm a huge Packer fan, but I do live in a Chicago suburb and my entire family is Bears' fans so I am exposed to a lot of Bears information or whatever else you want to call it. My first Bears article, the Offseason to do list piece, was very poor and was a good learning experience for me because if I want to write about a different team I need to do a ton of more research than if I were writing about "my" team. Since I'm a Packer fan, I probably got harsher flack for the article then a Bears fan would have gotten, but that article was bad, no doubt about it.
I also really enjoy writing about the draft and free agency and "what could happen, what should happen" type of articles. I'm only 16 and I'm just trying to get better and better, and I've learned a ton about what it takes to write good articles about sports. And honestly, besides my first bears article, I think my other articles on the Bears offer good ideas/points. I can't remember what you personally thought of the Hester and/or Briggs articles, but I still think those are good because they're not predictions, they're just ideas.

    Hey Justin,

Check out a Dwight Howard trade proposal from a Chicago broadcaster this week. I broke it down and I think it's a trade that works for both parties. It's a good enough trade for the Magic, that I'm almost hesitant on it from the Bulls side. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

    Hey Justin,

I wrote a piece comparing Tom Thibodeau and former coach Doug Collins, along with a personality difference between Derrick Rose and Michael Jordan. I would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks.
