About

I grew up in the small town of Wylie, Tx and played just about every sport offered. I fell in love with UT around 7th grade, and my orange blood gets more burnt by the day. I also formed and played for the greatest co-ed softball team ever assembled, the Dirty South. (Ha...ha)

I live for the months of August through January. Even though I'm a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys, college football is my passion! NCAA basketball gets me through March, and the NFL draft takes over in April. But those long months of May, June and July are tortuous.

I graduated from UT in December of '09 with a Bachelors in Sociology, and I'm working towards a second degree in Journalism. I worked for the Austin American Statesman part-time this past fall, and really enjoyed it. I wish I knew how to save the paper industry, as I'd love to write for a newspaper one day. No matter the medium, though, my dream is to make this my career.
