My father spent most of his life in Cleveland, Ohio. I, on the other hand, have spent 24/25ths of my life in Illinois. I could have enjoyed countless basketball titles, a World Series, a Stanley Cup and the stories of a 1985 defense. Instead, I cry about The Drive. I loathe The Fumble. I can't stand Jose Mesa, and Art Modell is an evil evil man. Yep, I adore Cleveland sports.
I graduated from Western Illinois University in something far from Journalism, but do something that most journalist I admire do - write the truth, and truthfully write. I study the games and the players that play them. My only hope is that I can show my gratitude through writing.
