I've always loved watching sports but never tried writing about it. Welcome to my first foray into writing sports opinion. I'm an Economics graduate of Princeton University and currently live in Los Angeles, CA. Thanks for reading.

    I appreciate that Mike. Do you have a link to an article about that?

    You're right, I should phrase myself better: they may not have been the closest of friends, but there's a relationship there that involved at least mutual, professional respect. Or that Paterno is an honest man and believed in innocence until proven guilty. Thanks for all the support.

    Gary, you know I support your article, but I do feel that I should mention that there is some evidence that Paterno and Sandusky did not actually get along very well, even in 1999 and earlier.
