About

My name is Matt Madsen and I'm 22 years old. I'm a senior at Arizona State University, majoring in English education. While it isn't exactly my major, writing has always been a passion of mine. Through Bleacher Report I hope to gain valuable sports writing experience. With a considerable amount of luck, one day I hope to parlay that experience, along with other writing experience and education, into a career in writing.

Football is my passion. Being a student of ASU, I'm obviously a Sun Devil fan. However, I've also been an Indianapolis Colts fan for as long as I've liked football. It's a tough time for us right now, so take your best shot. You may not get the chance again for another 10-15 years.

    My first US international soccer game. 97th minute winner by Ricardo Clark against Venezuela. Never felt more patriotic in my life.
