For as long as I can remember, I've considered sports to be my biggest passion. Growing up I watched sports when my friends watched cartoons. I played basketball when my friends played with toys. I read articles when my friends read picture books.

Not too long ago, however, I learned something new about myself—I love telling stories.

My passion for sports will never disappear, but my craving to tell the story behind the game has made me evaluate each contest in more ways than I could have imagined.

As a recent University of Oregon graduate, I now find myself eagerly seeking the chance to put those passions together and prove myself as an enthusiastic and passionate sports journalist.

Everybody has opinions. I know I do, and I know you have them too.
