T. Gill and Pelini similarly qualified? I think not.. That's why I don't have to argue that point you freaking IDIOT JACKBALL!

I made the point numerous times as to why Pelini was given the job over Gill.

I'm not going to state the obvious AGAIN to a freaking IDIOT.

Tom Osborne made the same fucking point, that he felt that as bad as the defense was that Nebraska needed a defensive coach that would come in, change the defense and LEAVE THE OFFENSE ALONE!

Why is that point missing you and why do you refuse to accept it? That's just the way it was and is.

Had the shoe been on the other foot, I.E. T. Gill is the defensive specialists and Bo the offensive guy, Gill is the HC at Nebraska!

Turner is not running the same offense that Nebraska ran under Callahan, I.E the WCO, the same offense coached by Shawn Watson, the same offense Joe Ganz and the entire offense has been in for 4 years.

Turner might be running a few plays and sets out of the WCO that he has picked up but to say he is running the same offense that Bill Callahan ran at NU from 2003-2007 is absurd!

So, YES YOU JACKASS! T. Gill would have installed a new offense!

I don't care how similar you think the offense Turner might have installed at NU would have been to the pro style offense ran by Callahan and learned by Ganz and Co.

Every offense has it's own terminology and philosophies and the 08 Nu offense would have been starting over with Gill as HC in 2008.

As far as other schools "making wholesale changes" to a coaching staff and to the entire team. Nebraska didn't need "wholesale changes", I.E. a new offense and defense in 2008.

If, you can't see the positives and the bonus to NU for keeping the offense in tact and why T.O. saw fit to do that than I guess it's obvious why you're NOT a coach or AD.
