Laurie's Bio

My name is Laurie and I'm a 21 year old aspiring sports journalist. I plan to earn my degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Football has always been my passion. Im quiet and Shy until we start talkin' ball! Don't ask how I came to love football, I never played any sports. My love is for the game!

I'm a Ravens fan first and a Giants fan second. I was able to blog in the press box at the Baltimore Ravens VS. Philly Eagles game and I fell in love with the idea of being a sports writer. I'm really only interested in the NFL although I pay attention to college for draft picks.

This year I will start writing ALOT more in hopes of expanding my writing portfolio.

I HATE ESPN but love NFL network. I love my team but I admire players throughout the entire NFL.

Basically, I'm just a crazy football fan who hopes to turn her passion for the game into a Career!

I love ALL my fans and support! Feedback is MUCH appreciated! :)

  1. Hey Laurie, it's flynismo from the Ravens Board! Good stuff, keep it up!

  2. Haha, NEVER!! Even if we dont make it to the play-offs this season and fall to a 6-10 team next year, I hope Harbs stays with us for a loooong time. He's a breath of fresh air with all the NFL personalitys. I actually got the chance to meet him in person and he is THE nicest most down to earth person ever, but we have ALOT of players on our team like that.

  3. oh yeah, what J.T. said. but i'd like to get your opinion on this...

also, as an eagles fan myself, i'd like to say you're welcome for Jon Harbaugh. now give him back.

  4. The NFC North roundtable is out. Give it a look.

  5. yeah I'm with Luke. I'm jealous you got to be in the press box too. Keep at the writing you have a good voice and I think you will make it where you want to go.

A lot of people post article links on my bulletin board for me to read. Feel free to do that if you want to. It's so easy to miss articles on Bleacherreport, and I'm looking forward to reading more of your work.

  6. Hey Laurie, I like your first article, even though you're a Ravens fan. I share your same dreams! Where do you go to school?

  7. How'd you wind up in the Press Box for the Eagles game? Definitely jealous about that!
