Grew up in Bedford, OH in the shadows of my own personal cathedrals, the Richfield Coliseum and Municipal Stadium where strangers became brothers and committed fans through an oath made at the trough of the men's room. Later those sacred palaces became the Gund Arena, Jacobs Field, and Cleveland Browns Stadium and shall forever be called by those names in the hearts of fans regardless of corporate naming rights. Spent 4 years in Oklahoma City attending a small university, trying to run from the only place I had ever called home. Upon graduating I still needed to keep running so I bought a bike and all the gear I needed for survival and headed for New York City where I began a two month journey across the nation that ended on the Oregon coast. By the time I set foot in the icy cold water of the Pacific I knew in my heart I needed to return to Cleveland where my heart has always belonged.

I am currently a youth pastor at a small church in Westlake, OH and love being able to spend time with the world's future leaders. My free time is almost entirely dedicated to obsessing about sports, whether Cleveland related or not. The thing I crave most in this life is to witness a Cleveland sports championship and see the uplifting power it can have on a city. My greatest hope is that I can share that moment with my father and that it will be done by a team we can be truly proud of, a team that reflects the undying passion of the city of Cleveland.

Oh and I like to write when the moment strikes me and something interesting comes to mind. I love the Cavs, Browns, and Indians but football and baseball are my particular favorites.
