I dont think Girouds red will be overturned - I think Wenger accepted it, so it will not be contested (as far as I'm aware). After the Fulham red I thought your suggestion of Gervinho would have been perfect; with no room for Theo with Fulham playing very deep and maintaining their lines, Gervinho would have been a good option.

I dont know to be honest Will. I suppose it all depends on how the current negotiations are handled; what is clear is that we have failed on players like Mata. Now if a director of football would fix that, then sure its a good idea. If however the director of football is still subject to whatever restrictions or strategy that caused deal to fall through previously, then it may not help.

Interesting, and I wouldn't be surprised if that was true; Holtby seems to be a good player but not the most technical guy in the world. My personal opinion is I would have considered him, but more as an option on the wing or in the b2b role. But its not like we are desperately short in midfield.

I would e suprised as Dein backed Usamov over Kroenke. However, if this came to be it would be an indication of how much clout Wenger has at the club. Doubtful though IMO.
