Kirk Dymbrowski commented on Notre Dame Football: Why Third-Year Luck Won't Find Brian Kelly:
Thanks for the article Connor. Realistic, yet still upbeat.
In College Football, Who Needs Playoffs? Playoffs?!
October 7, 2009
Born and raised in Chicago, been everywhere from the Artic to the Desert.
40-something Notre Dame fan, White Sox, Cubs, Bears, Black Hawks, Bulls fan in that order.
Now living in Columbus, OH with my talented and lovely wife.
It should be noted I am Old School, Jurrasic. Pre-Columbian.
I am against: College Football playoffs, The designated hitter, Astro-turf, Domed stadiums, Steroids, Expanded rosters in MLB, 3 divisions/Lg in MLB, The three-point shot, Instant Replay(in any sport), the clock-continuing for out of bounds plays in College football-thus shortening games, I am against GM-Manager hybrids, Hockey teams in the Sonoran Desert, the term "American Football"-soccer is one term-Football is another, I am against pampering QBs and ticky-tack skinny guy Pass Interefernce calls, I never liked in-the-grasp, I don't like prima donna WRs who duck out of bounds, I want more offensive charging calls in basketball, I don't like free agency-Magglio Ordonez should have stayed on the White Sox forever(he's rich, who cares whether he likes it or not?), I am against hunting-poaching-fishing in National Parks, and I want more lingering camera shots on the cheerleaders at football games.
I read your bio on what you dislike. I think we would get along just fine.
Thanks for reading, Kirk! Here's to hoping I see the Cubs win a title in my lifetime.
Thanks for liking my article.
Kirk... I feel as though I owe you a personal apology!
What was that?
At least USC was at times physically dominant... but again... TURNOVERS!
And did you like the helmets?
I thought they looked like gold spray-painted tin foil.
At any rate... you were right.
Do you remember the comment you wrote on my article about ND?
I wrote the following back to you:
This week I like: Temple getting 7.5 over Penn State, Iowa State getting 4.5 over UConn, Duke getting 7 over Bost Coll, Florida giving 9.5 over Tenn, Okla giving 3 over FSU, and Miami giving 3 over Ohio St.
Six for six! not too shabby if I may blow my on horn. Unfortunately I'm not a gambler.
Jeff

Hey Kirk,
As the sports world breaks the news of the Mike Leach firing, I came up with an interesting idea. Would an NFL team be interesting in making him their offensive coordinator. See what reasoning I came up with as to why it makes sense. Appreciate any feedback!
