What happened to you? You just disappeared.
I think it is time to stop communication from you again. Please do not contact me or post comments on my articles as they will not be answered. Thank you in advance for compliance with this request.
Yes, the Vanderbilt head basketball coach (for as long as he has that job) two of his assistants and another unnamed head basketball coach were his "sources".
You are getting very close to your old routine again Mark, I suggest you stick to commenting on things you understand.
You should write an article with all the facts that point to Auburn fans being in denial. Do it soon though, as there will be a very big revelation soon that will overshadow such an article with Alabama fans......
Yes the report list four as sources, but only two were present at the meeting. The other two were assistant coaches and not even cleared to be invited. Of course that does not matter as you are passing along rumor and not information from your own sources.
I suggest you do some digging and develop your own sources so that you are not victim to others sensationalism.
You should also note that Thamel has been inaccurate on several occasions and reprimanded for these mistakes. He often uses third party "sources" that are speaking of hearsay.
As usual you are wrong Mark. Only two that were there spoke about the meeting. They will be censured and fined for doing so as it was a confidential meeting. That is why the conversation I had was off the record.
If you choose to use your time hoping that your rather unique version is real, please feel free. I have passed along what I know and can be of no further assistance.
Yes, I realize that Ms. Lach was ill prepared and got embarrassed at the meeting. The reason for this is that Enforcement has never been read in to any investigation of Auburn. That is her branch of the NCAA. The NCAA was foolish to send her there without reading her in and preparing her properly.
As I have commented to you before, the Newton Investigation has long been over as far as Auburn is concerned. The recruiting investigation was being handled by the Rules Committee and Clearing house.
This is what caused the issue. It is very common in any bureaucracy, especially one as unwieldy as the NCAA.
You should also be made aware that Tramel left out the majority of the exchange to hype his story. In the actual event Ms. Lach was very uncomfortable and resorted to crawling behind the statement she finished with. It was obvious she did not expect to be faced with questions on this matter. She appeared embarrassed.
Of course you are welcome to take heart in this if you like, Alabama fans need as many bright spots as they can get for the next months.
Thanks for the "like," Mark.
