    Mike Mussina's 1-hitter against the Red Sox in 2001. Carl Everett broke up a perfect game in the bottom of the ninth with two outs and two strikes. ALSO Curt Schilling's 1-hitter in 2007. I went into that game thinking that Schill was going to throw a no-no that day (I've been to thousands of baseball games and never once thought that before), and he came within one out of doing so.
