Hi Alan. I didn't realize it had been split into so many single-sentence paragraphs. I don't know how to go back to look at the story to see exactly how it looks. I can tell you two things that played a role: 1) B/R style: as copy editors, we're on the lookout for long paragraphs. 2) my editing window: it's somewhat narrow, so what looks like a full graph to me, might be shorter on the actual web page.
