The Short List What Todd thinks about sport's most pressing questions
-
Favorite Athletes
Ray Allen, Roger Clemens (I got his autograph like 3 times. I respect Jim Calhoun more than anyone, though.
-
Favorite Sports Teams
UConn Huskies, Syracuse Orangemen (or do I mean the Orange), New York Giants, New England Patriots, New York Mets, New York Yankees.
-
All Time Sports Moment
Scott Burrell's pass to Tate George with 1.0 second remaining in the 1990 East Regional Semifinals. George made a miraculous shot from the corner.
-
Most Memorable Game Attended
2008 Big East Tournament, Elite XC Primetime at the Prudential Center. Vermont beating Syracuse in the 2005 NCAA Tournament in Worcester, Mass for the wrong reasons. I still can not believe Vermont won that game.
-
Most Unbreakable Sports Record
A Pitching statistic, such as total wins. I just confirmed this several days later as SI also pronounced Cy Young's 511 wins as baseball most unbreakable records. Let's see 25.5 years of HGH, or no 35.5 years by Clemens and he might break it. No, Roger you never used steroids, you used HGH.
-
Ruth or Mays?
Babe Ruth because he had some ties to my town. Mays was dynamic, though. That catch he made, wow.
-
Unitas or Montana?
Montana because I never had the pleasure to watch Unitas. Plus, Montana went to Notre Dame, I would love to visit that school one day. My favorite movie is Rudy, by the way.
-
Jordan or Russell?
Jordan
-
Gretzky or Orr?
Gretky
-
Pele or Maradona?
Pele, but Diego (Mardonna) was my Spanish name during 4 years of High School at Coginchaug.
-
Federer or Sampras?
Fedor Emelienanko, whoops
-
Tiger or Nicklaus?
Tiger
-
Petty or Earnhardt?
Earnhardt
-
Schumacher or Senna?
Who Cares?
-
Pac 10, Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC, or Big East?
Big East . . . The toughest conference in college basketball the 07-08 season. Didn't West Virgnia beat Oklahoma in football? I bet that hurts Sooner fans.

Hi Todd!
I’m still recovering from the shock of John Calipari leaving Memphis for Kentucky. I think it’s a good lesson for fans of all college basketball teams:

Please give it a read when you have a minute. I’d love to get your thoughts! Thanks.

Hi Todd, how are you?
I wrote a very personal, hopefully heart warming account of my coming to grips with my team’s loss in the NCAA round of Sweet 16.

Check it out and let me know what you think! Thanks.

Hey Todd,
I read your March Madness article on the bracket guy, some good stuff there. I am at work right now, and am being very unproductive with these games starting up, haha.
I work at a company that has this service that is really cool for sports writers like you. Quikcasting, the service we offer, allows people to record and publish their own audio content from their phone. Using the new widget we came out with, you can put your recordings right up on your bleacher report page, or on your facebook, twitter, etc. It's a great tool to have during the tournament with everything going on. We already have a decent group from Bleacher Report in and Quikcasting, and they are really enjoying it.
We happen to be running a campaign for March Madness and if you set up a Quikcast (for free) and record 3 episode we send you a new bluetooth from Plantronics, straight up.
Here is the link if you want to get started: http://www.lexy.com/hoops
Let me know if you have any questions, feel free to email me at steve@lexy.com

Hey Todd—Dave Mo here, a Bleacher Report Community Coordinator.
I've been spending time on our MMA page and read a couple of your old articles. Really on-point analysis...you do good work.
Given that you haven't written in a while, I thought I'd check in and see if you're interested in picking up your coverage again. What do you say?
If not, it would be great if you could give me some feedback on why you decided to stop writing and what we could have done to better serve you. If you wouldn't mind, please shoot me a line at dmorrison@bleacherreport.com with any thoughts.
Thanks so much,
Dave Mo

Todd -
I am not totally sure of all the factors involved in those rankings. Obviously the # of articles (which you have a bunch) is a factor. How recent your last article MMA article was written is also a factor. I bet if you wrote an article today you would shoot back up the list b/c you have 17 MMA articles which is a lot more than most. Jon and I have no control over the rankings. I do know that much.

Todd -
Thanks for making me one of your favorite writers.
I'm a little worried about you. You listed yourself as one of your favorite writers... twice.
Either you are narcissistic or schizophrenic. Not good, my friend, not good.

just added you, couldnt believe you had the balls to write a Sergio Mora article. I couldn't find anybody who thought he had a chance to win other than Doug Fischer at Maxboxing.com.
Look forward to reading your articles in the future, and appreciate your contributions to the boxing page. Not a lotta guys are into boxing and MMA, everybody seems to be choosing between the two.

I would say Big East, but if you would rather have the Final Four let me know and I can change it for you...
Just saw that you went to SU, I'm finishing up my last semester there now. (And hoping we can win some of our last games and make it to the tournament.)

Todd,
FYI, you can edit articles by clicking on the "edit this article" button on the right side of the article page. Let me know if you hit any snags.
Best,
RA
