About Timothy »

I'm Tim Chubb and I am a diehard Philadelphia sports fan. I will mainly focus my articles on the Phillies and Flyers but I am also passionate about the Eagles.

I grew up playing for various club, school, and select ice hockey teams due to my love for the game of ice hockey. I was fortunate enough for my Dad to have season tickets for the Flyers and was able to see a lot of hockey as a kid when I myself was off the ice. My passion for ice hockey and my ultimate dream would be to see the Flyers hoist the Cup again, once I tasted that feeling with the Phillies I thought I can't wait for the Flyers.

I am currently a freshman at West Chester University in Pennsylvania majoring in finance.

Well, how can I answer without getting in trouble.........I will say that radio is a business of egos, and that all are friends and or communication occurs off the air, but there is a natural competition to all of them. Regarding Eskin, yes people inside like him, he has his enemies, but thats all of them towards somebody. He has always been great to me, has really mentored me and has helped me through anything. I like him, he tells you the facts but sometimes goes too far.

But his co-workers sometimes go at it with him, especially Gargano.

Thanks a lot Tim, I appreciate it a lot. Please keep reading. I spend a lot of time with the team, so whenever I write about them, its facts and with a touch of my own opinion, ha ha. But thanks for reading. It's fans like you that help mewake up and travel with them, go to school, and go to WIP Radio, and still have energy to write a column everyday or so.

Your the best. Good Luck with hockey and school. I just stopped playing hockey actually due to everything i'm involved in, it sucks!!
