Colorado Rockies NLDS Diary, Part Four: What It Feels Like to Lose to Yourself
10/13/2009
I have thought for a while now that I must be the biggest Rockies fan in the Northwest. Real Rockies fans are few and far between, but we're out there, and we're passionate. I am currently serving as an intern for the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes, a single-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. I grew up in Colorado, moved to Oregon to go to school, and am now searching for a long-term job in baseball. I play golf when I can, like to run at least a few times a week, and like to drink Busch Light in my free time. I have estimated that I spend upwards of 14 hours a day thinking about baseball. That's probably too much.
Here's how we all voted. Thanks so much for the help. Enjoy.

Huston Street was the man coming out of college. Now he's back to doing big things with the Rockies. If you have a moment, please check out my column.

Former MLB player Eric Karros called my article into question on Colin Cowherd's ESPN Radio show yesterday.
He challenged me for a re-do: but here's my response.
I assure you, it's not just a ridiculous personal attack, but it shows that Karros was off-base with his statements.

Uh oh. This guy might write about the Rockies better than you do, at least in this article. He might be your long lost twin bro based on what I gather.

With each big name that is leaked to steroid use, America's most hated player is slowly becoming its most trusted. The biggest names in baseball are falling subject to steroid use.

Hey Tyler,
I'm a Featured Columnist for the Indians here on Bleacher, and I'm polling the FCs from other MLB teams for an upcoming article on what went wrong with the 2009 Indians from an outsider's perspective.
Your participation in a brief survey for the article would be greatly appreciated.
Here is the link to the survey:

The deadline for the survey is Sunday August 2.
I look forward to reading your opinions!
Thanks!

Hey,
After the great success of my first article about the uniform numbers 1-10, I have come back with the next installment, with the best players to wear the uniform numbers 11-20. I hope you can take a look and even comment on my choices. Thanks in advance!

Hey Tyler,
Yeah that would be something I would be interested in doing, but with my schedule it's very hard for me to find a certain time where I would be available that's not the middle of the night. I work from 9 am-midnight most every day, and when I post articles, they're usually while I'm burning the midnight oil. If you've got an idea on when you'd like to do it, let me know and I'll see what I can do. Thanks, man.
