Dave's Bio

With his aspirations of realizing a professional ping-pong career nothing more than a distant memory, Dave Finocchio lives a life of regret and anguish. Some day, he hopes to reopen "Beach, Blanket, Bablyon" at the family business in San Francisco.

Dave is an avid contributor to Bleacher Report's NBA community, focusing most intensely on the NBA draft and player personnel decisions.

A recovering baseball fan, he spends his summers reading. The remaining nine months of the year are devoted to Notre Dame football and basketball, the 49ers, and the Golden State Warriors. Dave currently prefers his summers.

    you know i'm dissapointed and havent been on the site in a while simply because im still a little upset that inever received my bleacher t-shirt i was supposed to be rewarded for winning the march madness cinderella story contest with my article. i was looking forward to getting one?

    Hey Dave,

    I have been keeping up with attracting new people to come post at Bleacher Report for Arizona sports. I have just been MIA much of the summer, its been a very hectic summer for me, I have been in North Carolina a lot of the time visiting my girlfriend and I had summer school to get enough credits to where I can graduate early nd now I am in Greece visiting my dad. Although I haven't been able to write articles on Bleacher Report for a while I have been keeping up with the internship and going to different message boards. This is the first time I have been able to access internet while in Greece, its too slow. Once I find a computer that has Microsoft Excel I will be sure to send you an email with the document on it. I will keep active with the messsage board searches and trying to attract new people to this website. Just send me a note back or an email if you want to. I look forward to hearing back from you and look out for the Excel Document in the next few days. Have a good one Dave.

    Count me in. This is a real open week for me, the team I'm covering for my internship this summer is away so I've got plenty of time.

    we have a semi-pro ping-pong league here on the shore that you could hook up with.

    attendance is down because of the economy and the pay-outs include a lot of food coupons and Natty-Bo beer.

    i'm working with the burrito guy on the NFL page to add a bonus package.
