Matthew's Bio

I'm an editing intern for Bleacher Report. And I must say it's fun being an intern almost 18 years after I graduated from college! I enjoy very much the interaction with writers on the site. You are an enthusiastic lot. As for my professional background, I've spent more than 17 years as a daily journalist with a stint as a PR guy thrown in. I have 14 years experience as an editor at daily and monthly publications. I continue to work as an editor for a local paper part-time as I try to ride out the storms in the industry. I look forward to interacting with you -- especially if you're a fan of the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins, Boston University hockey, or Arsenal Football Club.

  1. Thanks for your edit mate and kind words

  2. Matthew, thanks for you feedback on my piece about Ted Williams and Joe D. It has always been a curiosity to me that someone like Ted Williams, who most consider the greatest hitter in the world and is reknowned for how much he studied hitting had such an unorthodox swing. Without question, no matter where his hands started he had them in the hitting zone at the right time and could do things with a bat most other people could never do. Thanks again.

  3. Hey Matt.. Thx for the edit and your feedback pal... really appreciate it...

  4. Thanks Matthew, appreciate the feedback.

  5. Hey man thanks for the look-over.....Needless to say I'm a little scattered today: Along with keeping tabs on the deadline, I've been editing my sports segment for our school's website all morning/afternoon, and took a "break" to go shoot for two and a half hours tonight....hopefully the article wasn't too scattered for you.

    Thanks again Matthew,

    BT

  14. Thanks for the edits Mr. McSorley. I live right outside Manhattan, but when I am in Manhattan I frequently drink an Ale that apparently was named after you.

I try to bring alternative takes to the table, so I am happy to hear you enjoyed it and thanks again. I look forward to reading more of your material as well.

  15. thanks for the edit man. i would tend to agree with you, but i didn't want someone to read it after this week and be confused about which friday...does that matter?
