Join Me In Looking at the 2010 New York Mets
08/28/2009
I have been a Mets fan since 1962. I attended the 32 inning double header with the Giants, and witnessed the Jim Bunning perfect game on Father's day. At the Polo Grounds in 1962 my seat was out beyond the bull pen. It was so far out that Frank Thomas (3B) would pull a home run down the left field line (he hit 32 that year, I believe) and the ball would enter the stands before we heard the crack of the bat. I sat in the upper deck at Shea in Section 1, formerly know as grandstand seating - I think the price was about $2.50. I now watch most every game from Tucson, AZ.
here's the story of a plyer who succeeded inspite of the odds against him! -

Hey,
After the great success of my first article about the uniform numbers 1-10, I have come back with the next installment, with the best players to wear the uniform numbers 11-20. I hope you can take a look and even comment on my choices. Thanks in advance!
