Hey,

Following up yesterday's great debate is the one I've been waiting to write for a long time, and the one I think may be the best debate yet and a must-read for any football fan! Should video technology be introduced into football? Would doing so take away from the 'magic' that makes the game so great? And would it help or hinder the referees? So sorry for the shameless, impersonal self-promotion, but first, let me tell you all something. Seeing my country, Iran, fall in front of my eyes, with all the violence going on, has been very hard. I have family who are right in the thick of the action, and their security I'm told is not assured. These are dark times for Iranians, but there has been some shining light through an historic act of defiance shown by the footballing superstars of Iran.
