What can I say? I am here for the same reasons you all are here....I absolutely am a sports nut and I find web sites like these more informative and well written than a lot of the "traditional" news outlets. I love basketball, baseball, football, and golf. I have lived in Boston my whole life. I am a fan of the Celtics, Red Sox, and Patriots (I know that makes me Public Enemy #1 before we even get started, but cut me some slack; I supported them during the Rod Rust and Dick McPherson eras). I have a beautiful wife and an adorable little daughter. If anyone wants to contact me and talk some sports, or just tell me I don't know what the hell I'm talking about, I would love to hear from you.

Rest In Peace, Don Tomasso. Boston sports lost one of its greatest fans on 4/6/2008. All your friends love you and think of you constantly.

Red Sox beating the Yankees in the 2004 ALCS, coming back from down 3 games to nothing. And of course, winning the World Series one week later.

Most Memorable Game Attended

The Celtics winning the title against Houston in 1986. To this day, Larry Bird said it was the best game he ever played.

Most Unbreakable Sports Record

The 1972 Dolphins, as obnoxious and insufferable as they are. If the 2007 New England Patriots could not do it, I do not think it ever gets done. And we will have to listen to those nitwits until the end of time.

Ruth or Mays?

Willie Mays.

Unitas or Montana?

Joe Montana.

Pele or Maradona?

Pele, because he was in "Victory" and that is roughly the extent of my soccer knowledge.

Jordan or Gretzky?

Can I cop out and say even? I know very little about hockey, but they are both the tops of all time in their respective sports.

Pac 10, Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC, or Big East?

Has to be SEC, especially in football.

    There were some bandwagon Pats fans, but when a team is good, that will always happen. I have loved the Celts for as long as I can remember, but the amount of hats and shirts I see this year makes me want to laugh. However, that is just par for the course, and I am sure goes on everywhere (you think there were all these Colts diehards when they were 3-13?)

    Boston fans are very loyal, but yes, you will see some jump out of the woodword when a team shows improvement. If you heard a noise in February, it was all these great New York fans throwing their Jets hats back into the closet so they could run out and buy a Giants jersey.

    Actually, outside of the pats, I'm pretty much a boston an. I was stressing pretty hard in 04 when derek lowe was closing out the a's. Talk about a great moment in sports. But, I'll tell you, the pats fans came out of the woodwork this year. Incredible.
