Glenn's Bio

I'm just an old sports guy who does a little blog about ACC sports -- Todays ACC Headlines. The take is slightly offbeat and we will wander off the path to the other NCAA conferences and the whole wide wild world of sports if the occassion calls for it. Which, it usually does...It isn' the New York Times, but it ain't M.A.D. Magazine either...we don't micro anyalze every missed block or travelling call. TAH tries to remember that at the end of the day sports are really all about entertainment, and good entertainment should make you smile some days and laugh out loud on others...

Washington Redskins, North Carolina Tar Heels

  • All Time Sports Moment

    Secretariat's Triple Crown

  • Ruth or Mays?

C'mon, how can you choose? Apples/Oranges.

  • Unitas or Montana?

Montana, though Unitas' high tops were cool.

  • Jordan or Russell?

Jordan, I've met Russell and he's rather chilly.

  • Gretzky or Orr?

Did they play that cold game they call hockey?

  • Pele or Maradona?

Pele, Maradona should have stayed married to Guy Richie.

  • Federer or Sampras?

McEnroe, don't be ridiculous or I'll start yelling.

  • Tiger or Nicklaus?

Tiger, he's better and I'm tired of Nicklaus starting every sentence with "I."

  • Petty or Earnhardt?

Petty, see my name. Tom, Richard, they're all good.

  • Schumacher or Senna?

Schumacher, his homeland has better beer, although Brazil has other assets...

  • Pac 10, Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC, or Big East?

ACC, don't crap where you eat!

  7. Hey Glen,
I read your March Madness article on Bleacher Report, some good stuff there. I am at work right now, and am being very unproductive with these games starting up, haha.

I work at a company that has this service that is really cool for sports writers like you. Quikcasting, the service we offer, allows people to record and publish their own audio content from their phone. Using the new widget we came out with, you can put your recordings right up on your bleacher report page, or on your facebook, twitter, etc. It's a great tool to have during the tournament with everything going on. We already have a decent group from Bleacher Report in and Quikcasting, and they are really enjoying it.

We happen to be running a campaign for March Madness and if you set up a Quikcast (for free) and record 3 episode we send you a new bluetooth from Plantronics, straight up.

Here is the link if you want to get started: http://www.lexy.com/hoops

Let me know if you have any questions,
    Steve
