About Don »

Don White is a former AP newsman in Salt Lake City, former president of an insurance company in Seattle and Minneapolis, magazine editor, freelance writer, blogs at 18 sites from time to time. He played center field for the University of Utah Utes and the Calgary Dodgers in the Canadian League. He is an avid Yankee fan, but loves many teams including the Red Sox, Rays, Marlins, Twins, Athletics, Cubs, St Louis, and you name it... (a staunch supporter of Billy Bean and Joe Torre). He has three sons and a daughter and loves to go out to the old ball game wherever and whenever. He has coached his boys and been their scoutmaster and cubmaster.
