Favorite writers: Stendhal, Dostovyeski, Chéjov, Flaubert, Hugo...et caetera, a long list from XIX century.
Favorite music: New wave/post modern, classic rock, jazz, classical...everything from Depeche Mode to Jethro Tull, including The Cure, Police, Dire Straits, The Who, etc. and from Mozart to Chopin.
What i dislike: cats, superficiality, radicalism, ignorance.
What i admire: sincerity, passion in what you do.
Languages spoken: English, spanish (mother tongue), portuguese, french.
Beliefs: Roman catholic, but respect all creeds.

Looks good to me.
Yea whenever in doubt just make your paragraphs as short as possible and avoid run-on sentences.
You will get more used to the B/R style as you write some more and get more edits and feedback.
Let me know when you write another article and I'll take a look at it.
