Gem-- First off thank you for the feedback. I did edit the article to include the story, which I don't know why I didn't from the beginning. Since it posted twice, I actually edited the second. If you'd like to read that part, I did update it. Again thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the many paragraph breaks. I consider a well-placed break my secret weapon, but wrote this article pretty hastily (as sometimes has to happen when you're doing it at work). Reads much more smoothly now.

Gem, thanks for the edits! My article reads much smoother now. The quote from Feinstein was a direct quote from his radio interview, so I'm probably going to change that back. I also want to imbed the links directly into the site. (Just didn't have time when I posted).

I figured that being an umpire I have a different perspective of it, and I'm just getting fed up with the personal attacks on referees and how it's turned into a witch hunt where it seems like every call should be reviewed. Thanks for the edits man.

Hi,

Appreciate the look into the article. Unfortunately, we are now misleading readers with the way the revised story reads, namely that Felix defeated Richards in Stockholm last summer. There is an explanation owed the viewer. The original information stated that Felix was running fresh, with Richards doubling back after short rest in the 100m. Many experts in the world who read this story know Richards was unbeatable at 400m last season, and will cast doubt on the depth of knowledge presented here. It was also of importance to state that Felix defeated a woman at her own distance who won $500.000 for winning every other race except the DN Galan here in Stockholm - a prize she split with the world-record holder in the pole vault.

Professional track and field is about identifying athletes with world stars, and removing names or even events (Marion Jones 100m, 200m, 4x100m in Athens, for example) doesn't detract from a story, it gives the reader less to compare the subject to.

Otherwise, the story reads well, and I again appreciate the time you took to review it.
