  1. Dan,
Yeah its real tough here. But I hope to give the Mets fans out there a perspective on how Philly fans see the Mets. Because I dont really think many people understand how confident these Phils really are. Nor do they understand what terrible baseball fans they are in general.

  2. Dan,

    Thanks for the insightful comments.

You're right, you never want to see a panic movie that loses good young talent. The problem is that in this market there is tremendous pressure to win every single year.

  3. Hey Dan, Though we have opposing MLB teams, we are also in different leagues so no harm there, and it is great that we align perfectly in hockey and football. I appreciate the care you take in your articles, it translates to a great read. Looking forward to more.

  4. thank you; will do

  5. Thanks for the praise, Dan. I see you've got plenty of Mets analysis yourself - we need to keep up with it because SNY sure isn't.

And yes, I do type faster than Trachsel pitches - but in any other aspect, I can only bow down to his godliness.

Looking forward to reading all of your work!

    George

  6. Thanks Dan

  7. Yeah I've been alright, just busy with school and stuff, and then Tuesday and Wednesday I get home late from class, so I don't feel like doing any writing.... Along with the fact that until this weekend the Mets have been kind of uneven in their play, which puts everyone in a sour state of mind.... Also, I'm about to switch my major to Journalism, so I've been thinking a lot about that.... Also, one of my professors/ mentors passed away last week of cancer quite suddenly, so I am dealing with that.

  8. Hey Dan, thanks for the note. I've been really busy recently with finals and papers and such, but I should be back on here full time in a week or so.

    -Andrew

  10. Hey Dan, I am doing a MLB Power Rankings column monthly and getting votes from the BR Community Leaders. I plan on getting the first one done for May 1st, would you be interested in participating? It will detail our ranking of the 30 teams, plus our rankings of the race for the big awards as we go through the season. If you want in, send me an email address, or if you don't want to post it, just send it to me @ m_taylor13@yahoo.com. Thanks!

  11. I agree, today is iffy, I don't know who will win that battle. As for Maine vs Eaton—I can beat Eaton, so I have low expectations for that game. I loathe Eaton.

I hope the Phils keep it up, but good luck to you and your Mets.

Hopefully Utley will get hit less today.

  12. Hey Dan,

Thanks for checking out my posts. Lets Go Mets!!!

    -Dave

  13. Hey Dan,
I'm Josh--I live on Long Island and I'm just introducing myself because I'm going to be writing about the Mets several times throughout the year.

    Thanks.

  14. Oh yeah, not a problem. I enjoy reading your articles.

Oh man, isn't that bike stunning? Yeah, I'm in love with it.

  15. yeah, i actually caught the game out here in state college, so i was happy. I wasn't really upset with Giambi, I'm not really expecting much of him. I was more upset with the A-Rod strike out and the fact that Cano swung at the first pitch which he obviously could not handle. I also think Girardi should be batting Matsui higher up in the lineup, but that's just my opinion. It's only the start.
