Power Rankings are up! Thanks again and enjoy!

Sometimes you want guys that get by with guts and guile, vs. guys that have pure great stuff... Take Pelfrey for example, he has tremendous stuff, but is very very inconsistent... Also Heilman has a great fastball changeup combo, but he doesn't know how to use his strengths and keeps doing the same crap hoping that someone will chase a bad ball... The best way to go is to attack the hitter, rather than wasting pitch after pitch... And especially if you're a starter, because with pitch counts, you only have so long and have to be economical with you're pitches. The bottomline is that if you can only score about 2 or 3 runs a game, the room for error by Mets pitchers is next to impossible on a consistent basis and make it hard for this team to achieve success... The biggest thing is we need to trade Heilman, just to get him away.... I'd condone giving Muniz another shot...

Thanks for asking, I am hoping to get the file back out again by Friday and have people get it back to me by the 28th for me to get it posted. If you want I can send it to you earlier so you can complete it as you can.

Dan,
Yeah its real tough here. But I hope to give the Mets fans out there a perspective on how Philly fans see the Mets. Because I dont really think many people understand how confident these Phils really are. Nor do they understand what terrible baseball fans they are in general.

Dan,
Thanks for the insightful comments.
You're right, you never want to see a panic movie that loses good young talent. The problem is that in this market there is tremendous pressure to win every single year.

Hey Dan, Though we have opposing MLB teams, we are also in different leagues so no harm there, and it is great that we align perfectly in hockey and football. I appreciate the care you take in your articles, it translates to a great read. Looking forward to more.

Thanks for the praise, Dan. I see you've got plenty of Mets analysis yourself - we need to keep up with it because SNY sure isn't.
And yes, I do type faster than Trachsel pitches - but in any other aspect, I can only bow down to his godliness.
Looking forward to reading all of your work!

Yeah I've been alright, just busy with school and stuff, and then Tuesday and Wednesday I get home late from class, so I don't feel like doing any writing.... Along with the fact that until this weekend the Mets have been kind of uneven in their play, which puts everyone in a sour state of mind.... Also, I'm about to switch my major to Journalism, so I've been thinking a lot about that.... Also, one of my professors/ mentors passed away last week of cancer quite suddenly, so I am dealing with that.

Hey Dan, thanks for the note. I've been really busy recently with finals and papers and such, but I should be back on here full time in a week or so.
