Hiring of Kentucky High School Coach Questioned
05/17/2009
My name is Cookie Garris and I live in the most crazy and obsessed basketball state, Kentucky. Don't get me wrong I love Kentucky. But I love both their basketball AND football programs. I still think it will be a long time if ever that they win an SEC title in football. But they have improved. I am a registered nurse but my health has kept me at home a lot for the last two years. I won't be writing articles everyday. Don't want you to get burned out on me. I am a fan of all sports in general and you may not agree with everything I write and that's OK. Everyone's opinion should be respected. Most of my articles won't be very long. If your like me your attention span may not last through a long article plus I want to be straight and to the point. No beating around the bush. And lastly I am not a professional writer so I will need all the advise and help I can get. So I hope you enjoy.
What are Alter Ego's and why are they here on Bleacher Report?

You did a great job both with your article and with the way you're handling comments. He's a controversial issue so it's gonna draw some extremes from both sides, kind of like the Phelps story. The "offensive" underlined just means that you can click that link if someone leaves an offensive comment -- e.g., something racist, over-the-top personal insults, really bad language, etc.
Articles and comments can both be flagged as offensive, at which point a B/R editor is notified who looks at it and takes care of the problem.

At the same time i think that players like wall shouldnt drag out there recruiting process so long it tells me that for a long time he wasnt seriously thinking about it or hes a spotlight hog.

Well yeah no one catchs everything and with the economy as it is and depression on a rize i think people need to lay off the entertainment industrty in any form. People need something to lift there spirits and for some its college people for others its opera or a fireworks display or whatever and if a university puts out extra effort or whatever to make a game entertaining to there fans good job what matters is not ones past exception of use of illegal substances or assault and what not. but if someone hasnt harmed others then get over things and move on with life and let them entertain us for a while.
