Devin Higgins was born in Boston, Massachusetts, but asks that you not hold it against him. He grew up in one of the greatest eras of American sports but since he's physically gifted and can neither run nor jump, decided to write about it instead.
Since 1989, Higgins has lived in the Pacific NW, leaving some of his east coast bias behind and embracing a broader view of sports. At present, he is a staff reporter for The Reflector newspaper based out of Washington State, where he writes about news, sports, and everything in-between.
Higgins also works for KFXX/ESPN Sports Radio 1080AM "The FAN" in Portland, OR as a producer, update anchor, and field reporter, covering the Portland Trail Blazers, Oregon Ducks, Oregon State Beavers and other local sports. Since 2008, he's been involved in college sports as a play-by-play broadcaster for both Pacific University-Oregon and Linfield College, covering soccer, basketball, baseball and softball.
