Richard's Bio

There is a new website from the land of Vegas. It's called "THE" blog From Vegas Rich. I'm so technology challenged it hurts just thinking about it . Thank goodness to my pal "Dr. Phil" Kohen. I tried to link it here but of course that was simply way too difficult for me to do. If you have some interest please check it out. Suggestions and criticisms are always welcome.

I have decided to change my name for the Bleacher Report. I will now be known as "Vegas Rich". Of course I am Vegas poor but that doesn't have as good a ring to it.

I am without a doubt the biggest Mets fan in Las Vegas Nevada. Been with them from the beginning with great moments and some of the worst baseball ever played. I married a girl from South Philadelphia so she is now a Met fan where I can root for the Eagles without interruption to my New York Jet loyalty. Besides dis-liking the Giants and the Yankees, I've always hated the Braves and the Dodgers for leaving a 12 year old without a team in Brooklyn and now the Phillies can eat my shorts. So there you are. A typical and proud New Yorker taking Vegas for all it's worth for the past 14 years. Don't let 3 finger Louie know I'm here.

I've been invited to contribute on some blogs since joining here and I've even made some good friends with Phillies writers. I'm now fully immersed with Fantasy Baseball, thanks Dom D, and I love writing about the UNLV Runnin' Rebels. I'm semi retired which means I don't want to work anymore. Just drop me a line @ rsmcloser@cox.net. I am a computer illiterate and my best friend Phil Kohen also writes great articles on the BR. Check him out.
