Schmitters's Bio
Now obviously my real name isn't Schmitters, but my last name is Smith. My friends call me it so it sticks.
I am currently 14 years old and am going to be a freshman at Lansdale Catholic in Pennsylvania. I am one of the sports writers for Lansdale Catholic and will likely be the head sports writer by next year.
Now that school is beginning to start again, I won't be able to crank out an article a day as I used to. I will try to write as many articles as I can. The "A Glance at Greatness" series is currently on hold because of this.
Baseball is my favorite hobby and the Fightin Phils are my favorite team. I'm not one of those bandwagon people who started liking them last year. I've been a fan since 2001 when I was 8 years old. I've been a fan through and through. I've lived through the good times and bad.
My most viewed article, The 10 Greatest Baseball Songs, got 1200 more views than I thought it would.
My favorite article that I've written is Jamie Moyer: Future Hall of Famer?, which debates whether Jamie Moyer is Hall of Fame deserving. (Part II will come at the end of the season.)
Another favorite article of mine was MIB (Men in Blue): Funny Stories Involving Umpires. It was my first humor article, and it received much praise.
I am the proud author of the "Philadelphia Phillies Favorites" series and the "A Glance at Greatness" series.
A Glance at Greatness:
Arizona Diamondbacks, Atlanta Braves, Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians, Colorado Rockies

Listening to other Phillies fans over the past few days, I grew tired of the lack of confidence they seem to have. Personally, I believe in this team like no other.
