About

I'm your average guy from West Virginia who is devoted to the WVU Mountaineers. I am not a "great" writer by far, but sometimes my brain and my fingers get together and act like a bunch of birds going after the last sunflower seed on a snowy January morning. Every now and then they peck out a little something useful.

I am the creator of the website www.thankscoachrod.com, a site dedicated to the terrible way Coach Rich Rodriguez left WVU. However, I never place the whole blame on him.

I hope I can write something to keep ya coming back...

Thanks for checking out Bleacher Report

  • All Time Sports Moment

Me, 12 years old, little league football championship game, 2-point conversion pass reception, I had actually run the wrong play as the tight end and caught the overthrown ball. But, I must mention the 33 yard touchdown reception/run by Quincy Wilson in the WVU loss to Miami in 2003. That was an amazing moment to put WVU ahead by 1 with two minutes left in the game. Unfortunately Miami was strong enough to march down the field for the game winning field goal. Still an awesome play.

    Louisville @ WVU 2005...need I say more?

I might be one of the few, but I say if Dana doesn't work out, bring RR back. I don't blame RR for leaving, just don't like the way he left. I blame our former AD and President more than I blame RR for everything that happened....and you can throw in our idiot Governor as well. I think RR has learned his lesson and ate a lot of crow and would be a little more humbled over his position at WVU

Hey Scott—Jeff here, a Bleacher Report Community Coordinator.

I've been spending time on our West Virginia page and read a couple of your old articles. Really on-point analysis...you do good work.

Given that you haven't written in a while, I thought I'd check in and see if you're interested in picking up your coverage again. What do you say?

If not, it would be great if you could give me some feedback on why you decided to stop writing and what we could have done to better serve you. If you wouldn't mind, please shoot me a line at jeff@bleacherreport.com with any thoughts.

    Thanks so much,

    Jeff

Scott, next time you decide to edit an article written by me I would STRONGLY suggest you contact me first. The article in question is "Racing Tragedy: Edwards, Busch, You Could be Next" and the title was clearly changed by you.

You dislike what I've written, or think it could be said in a different way, fine, that's your opinion but having it doesn't give you editorial control over what I write without contacting me first.
