Seattle's Bio

My wife and I moved out here in 1989. We have adopted the Seattle Seahawks as our second most favorite team but have always remained faithful to the Lions. Not sure why but I can only paraphrase a quote from the great Sidney Lumet movie, 12 Angry Men:

You a Bear Fan?
No, Lions.
Lions? That's like getting hit in the head with a crowbar once a week.

And yet, I still hope for the best.

I was a major contributor to the now defunct (as of 03/13/2009) Fire Millen.com website where I was also known as Seattle Lion Fan. But since that joyus day in September of 2008, the site doesn't quite have the same meaning as it once did. Sad to say, firemillen.com will not be going under a name change but instead, the owner has decided to shut the site down.

I cut my writing chops on the site and I am sad to see it go...but I moved on to Bleacher Report which is opening more challenges for me.
