Take a look at my new piece. I have tried to break away from World Football and had a stab at American Football.

  2. I just finished my comment that turned into an article on MMA. I would appreciate your feedback.

  3. I realized the BCS is better than a play-off, and decided it needed to be defended. I'd love your input.

I'd appreciate it if you had the chance.

  4. Hey Colin,

Not that I'm shying away from a bet, but I don't know if I'll have time to do another article or not. The articles I post here are ones I've already written for the blog on my site.

I'll give Florida my due, don't get me wrong.

www.rolltidebama.com if you want to get "some love" IF the Gators win today. :-)

Harvin out puts some pressure on Tim today.

  5. Thanks for the add. A Carolina law student, huh?

  6. Yeah, Yoonew is awesome. If Florida beats Alabama, my dad and I are going to the national championship. There is no way I could say that without Yoonew.

  7. Hey Colin,

Thanks for the fan add and loved that piece on Obama and the BCS. Are you in law school/law school grad?

Reason I ask is I just graduated (learned I failed the CA bar on Friday, not a great weekend and that was before Stanford got rolled by Cal in the Big Game) and took antitrust as well as sports law so we covered some of this stuff. Was wondering if you ran across the idea in a similar setting.

B/c one of the problems we ran across w/re to the NCAA and antitrust was it's emphasis on education. The same statement that it hides behind to protect tax-exempt status has implications as far as its antitrust vulnerability. Don't know if they could somehow use it to shield the BCS, but it's a fascinating idea.

    Andrew

  8. Thanks for the comment Colin.

Ya, I was going to include Jacquizz Rodgers, but he really isn't a "hidden gem" anymore after he raped my USC team..

    sad haha
