A 3 time Pro Bowl and 2 time All Pro selection, Marcus Stroud has proven he can withstand the test of time in the NFL. This 10 year NFL veteran was the 13th overall pick in the 2001 draft. In 2001, Stroud was considered by many experts to be the finest draft for defensive tackles in draft history. At a menacing 6 foot 6, 310 lbs, Marcus has a huge presence on the field.

Marcus was born in Thomasville, Georgia and to this day calls Georgia his off-season home. It was apparent to all who knew Marcus that he was an extraordinary talent at a very young age. He was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated Magazine while he was still in high school because of his reputation as a standout player with a promising future in the National Football League

Marcus attended the University of Georgia and was drafted in the first round by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Where he successfully earned himself Pro Bowl honors three consecutive seasons. In 2008 Marcus was traded to the Buffalo Bills and was one of the teams key defensive talents. As a seasoned veteran, Stroud took on a leadership role with the Bills and was an integral part of the Bills defense until 2011 when he was signed with the New England Patriots.

Marcus stands out above the rest not only for his long and successful career in the NFL, but for his commitment to give back to the community. Marcus has contributed countless hour to giving back to the community. In 2007 the Marcus Stroud Charitable Foundation was established by Marcus to assist under-privileged youth in low-income single parent homes. Our Founder, Marcus saw a societal need for a foundation which not only supports disadvantaged children but also encourages their wholesome development. The mission of his foundation is to foster support by enhancing and enriching the lives of under-privileged children by establishing various academic and athletic programs otherwise unavailable to them. Marcus strives to be that “agent of change” and hosts a youth camp every year to battle childhood obesity.
