TJ's Bio

I'm from the city that also plays host to the Pro Football Hall Of Fame and Fawcett Stadium. Canton, Ohio. Perhaps that's where my love for the game of football originates from. Or perhaps it was the years of watching and then playing the sport that gives it a very special place in my heart.

I'm 20 years old and currently working a job that I hate in a restaurant, I'm good at it, but it's not a career option. I'm looking into college for journalism, perhaps Miami Of Ohio or Akron at the moment.

I'm dating a wonderful girl named Shawna and I'm loving being a father to her daughter LaDonna. Those two have my heart in a vice grip that's never going to be released.

I'm 100% without a doubt a diehard Steelers fan. As far as other sports go, I'll watch the NBA (Lakers) and NHL (Penguins) in the playoffs. I don't really pay attention to the MLB but I can force a conversation if it comes up in everyday life (Indians). Call me a frontrunner for any sport except for the NFL and you'll get no argument because I honestly don't pay enough attention to them to argue too much.

I do my best to provide an unbiased yet intelligent and thoughtful look into the world of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the NFL as a whole, but like every other human I have my own fallacies.

My work is currently published on one other site (besides my blog which is just in the planning/getting off the ground stages.) and that would be Sports Jabber (http://forums.sportsjabber.net/sjforums/index.php?referrerid=14) If you're looking for another platform to get your work read by hundreds of more people join and post your articles there, and feel more than free to post a link to the article on Bleacher Report in the topic at SJ. We'll do all we can to get your work out there.

If there's ever any need to contact me and I'm not on here, feel free to email me at TJJenkins89@hotmail.com

Some of my articles may not make it to Bleacher Report, most will, but some will be exclusively posted at Fan Huddle, http://www.fanhuddle.com/pittsburghsteelers

Any questions you have about me, feel more than free to shoot my way and I'll do my best to answer them.

  1. TJ,

I thought you'd like this piece. You'll probably find it a bit hilarious, as I dip into an alternate vernacular and start writing as if I was "kickin' it with a homie."

Hope you like it. If you have time to read it let me know what you think.

    Thanks,

  2. I'm thinking of majoring in Medicine, I've always had the desire to do so. Another is journalism, many told me to get into it, but I just don't see myself as a great writer. Besides, Science and Math are my good subjects haha.

And thanks for stopping by BTA! We're not that active as you can see, so it's good to see you there every now and then. I'll be getting on SJ shortly

  3. Yeah I'm watching the game right now :)

My life's been going good, school is always the biggest concern as I'm getting ready for college.

And yeah, I'll stop by SJ a lot more, I knew you are there, but I never got interested in the forum as a whole ever since I signed up haha. But I'm going to start posting there every now and then, just for you :)

  4. haha no way. It's all about my Wizards! lol just kidding, we're playing like garbage right now, injuries are still our main concern.

but I'm glad you got things going well for you, I know you were upset by SS, but it seems as though you bounced back.

  5. haha yeah, your articles are great, and I heard you got a job writing articles for the Steelers. Congrats on that.

  6. I'm doing good no complaints.

BTA is hanging in there, we're doing alright.

I see you're back posting on SS a little, good stuff.

  7. TJ!!!!! It's your good friend AL! How you doing man? long time no talk.

  8. As you all know, the Chiefs have released Larry Johnson. I analyze his career. This is the rise and fall of Larry Johnson:

  12. Eric Mangini has been an utter failure in Cleveland.. A big part of that has been trying to be like his former mentor, Bill Belicheck.. Heres a message to Eric: He Will Never Be On Belichick's Level. Appreciate any feedback you can give on this piece.
