Check out the latest article, and be sure to leave an opinion! :)

  2. Hi Neil,

I was just reading back over your Hull article and it is great that you are getting reads and comments. However you seem to be surprised by some of the responses you have received. Bleacher Report is quite a popular site and has links with "Foxsports", "Newsnow" and your articles more often than not end up in the news section of Google, so some people may react to your article been a legitimate piece of journalism.

While you may write an article as a laugh or because you are bored, be prepared for people to analyse every single word of it. Of course you are entitled to do as you wish with your articles but I'm just saying to be prepared for the responses, they will be a lot more severe than those you got on the Hull page.

Also calling someone a "twat" may get you in trouble with the owners of the site if it is flagged as offensive.

I think you have a great way of writing and if you put your mind to it may come up with a great article.

  3. hi, mary pointed me in your direction. i know you, your that kid in yr 11 (at rmgs of course) aren't you? your mate jordan signed up to b/r as well didn't he? anyway, welcome to bleacher report. some good articles so far. i see you want to be a sports journalist, so do i, so i along with the others in the world football community can help you improve your writing and make your articles even better. this site is great for honing your writing skills, it has definitely made me a better writer. good to see you are a fan of the gills, if you could write some articles on them that would be great. i've forced a gillingham section to be put up on this american based website, as i'm trying to promote the gills to all these americans here on b/r. i want to build up the gills section, so if you could some articles on gillingham that would be great as it would help make gillingham fc more visible and talked about on bleacher report. anyway, glad to have you on board, that's four writers from gillingham and specifically rmgs on this american based website! (because my mate chris rowlands is also on the site, and he too wants to be a sports journalist + he's in my year btw).

    cheers,
    yoosof.

  4. There, I've posted an article for you, feel free to comment.

  5. Good article on Hull, can't believe you've got 4 articles up already and you've only been on B/R that long!
I've been here 3 months now and only clocked up 11 articles, I guess that's just my pace keep writing the good stuff!

    Ricky

  6. Maybe try something like "Hull the Premiership Underdogs inspirational run at an end" gets it all into the one sentence :-)

  7. Just saw you support Gillingham - I point you in the direction of Yoosof Farah who is a massive gills fan and also Leader of the Aston Villa community and an all round great guy.

  8. Hey Nel,

First up thanks for the fan add and I'm glad you enjoyed my article on Wenger needing Mourinho.

I read through your articles and they are pretty good - you definitely have a writer in you :-) Although is your Hull article and Premiership Underdogs Article not the name thing?

The best thing to do is keep writing and your articles will get better. As they say practice makes perfect.

I'm not too sure what team you follow but regardless, if you have any questions just drop me a note on my bulletin board and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

    Thanks,
    Maire
