I live in the boondocks, Wayne County, PA, to be a bit more precise. However, right now I am up in Ithaca, going to school at Cornell- as a philosophy/government major.
My life pretty much (and sadly) revovles around baseball and politics. I am considering beginning blogging about both (http://ramblingsofpoliticaljunkie.blogspot.com/)... but I don't know if I want to kill that much time in my life.
My Met fanhood is a product of my grandmother who was a Dodger turned Met fan (my whole family is from NYC). When there is no baseball, football is my salvation (and when there is neither it is sort of a dark ages for me in a way... and at the same time, it is a time of great anticipation, for my fantasy baseball draft and opening day). I honestly don't know how I started liking the Steelers. I guess the first time I started watching football was the mid-1990's, perhaps I was a bandwagon jumper as a 7 year old because the first superbowl I vaguely remember was Super Bowl XXX (given my Met fan tendencies I decided to start liking the loser haha).
Hey Matt,
I saw your article on possible Mets' trades. I thought you might be interested in a proposal I came up with:

Now that we got the NY page under way we need a Community leader so you can vote on this page.

Who knows , you may be the next Community leader
Thanks Matt for the words and the add.
