First off let me say that if you haven't heard about 2 Minutes to Midnight Green, you're missing out. It's the best place on the internet for expert news and analysis on all the Philly sports.

http://www.2minutestomidnightgreen.com

Secondly, 2M2MG now has a message board up! The forum is for fans like yourself who want to have intelligent conversations, post rumors, or even submit articles for readers to view. The forum has everything on it. There's a forum for the Eagles, Phillies, Sixers, Flyers, NCAA Basketball, and NCAA Football. There's also a place for the general leagues (the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL).

Don't feel like talking football? That's fine, we have it set up so that anyone can come in and discuss politics, religion, or anything else for that matter.

Go to the site, click the Message Board button, register, and post. Could it be any easier?

Check it out!

Hey,

The biggest week of games to date this season begins for the Mets with Six games against the Phillies and the Yankees, its a real test for a team that has dealt with quite a bit during this early part of the season. With this I'm presenting another version of my Top Five with the subject centering around how the Mets can be successful this week against the Phils and Yanks. I hope you enjoy and thanks in advance.

Hello Philadelphia Phillies writer,

As we near the end of February, and Spring Training has begun, it is officially baseball season. A few weeks ago, my Co-Community Leader for the Philadelphia Phillies was removed from the position. Ever since, I have taken note of all of the Phillies writers, keeping tabs on their quality, quantity, and credibility. The reason is I want to get another Co-CL back on board to help me this season (and more) with many of the work we are going to be doing with the Phillies. Some of you I am writing to are a community leader for a different team, and one of you was actually the co-CL who was removed. That does not matter. It is fine to be a CL for multiple teams, and I would be glad to bring back an ex-CL. So here is my point. Over the next month, I am going to be paying very close attention to all of the Phillies writers I feel have a shot at being my co-CL for the Phillies. It will not just be quantity I look at, it will also be quality and credibility. I also want more consistency, and for you to have a history of Phillies articles. If you are up for the task, let me know. March will be your time to push for the job, and then I will extend my suggestion to Zander.

If you don't want to be involved, just let me know.

Most Bleacher Report writers know Dominick DiFucci. I have asked him to help me organize a fantansy baseball league this season made up of Bleacher Report writers. This could be a blast. If you're interested in joining send me your email address and we will contact with the details. The format has not yet been established and we encourage your suggestions. Also spread the word to people you know on the site as well. It could be an awesome league. I'm a novice at this but Dom is the shits. He knows this stuff inside out and forwards and backwards. Contact me at rsmcloser@cox.net. Do it ASAP. Thanks.

Everybody is always talking about which team has the best fans in the NFL. You see the rankings all the time. It's the ultimate goal of every group of fans. It's not just the fans of the best teams either. Eight of these 10 teams missed the playoffs in 2008.

If you are a player or coach for the New York Giants, there is no way that you want anything to do with the Philadelphia Eagles. This Eagles team has a swagger and has been in "must win" mode since their tie with the Bengals. They have speed at all eleven positions on the defense. Philly has a super-star, do-it-all tailback in Brian Westbrook as well a quarterback with tons of playoff experience who is trying to get the one thing that has eluded him in his career, a Super Bowl title.

Just a note to all community leaders. I'm trying to collect e-mails. I have most of them from when we did the awards, but If it's changed since then, or you are new to the team, make sure we're cool on the e-mail.

With Free Agency starting tomorrow, we should probably be thinking offseason plans. I encourage everyone to put up some sort of preview for their own team. Highlight some needs, maybe look at who your team has on the market, or potential targets. If enough people get in on it, I'll post a collective article to highlight everyone's work.

If your a new community leader, welcome aboard. If you've been around, make sure you go around, become a fan of some of the other CL's and support each other. We're a team here!

-Nino

Patrick, I do not have your e-mail. So if you could get me that, I'd appreciate it. Thanks man.
