Patrick's Bio
Patrick Gallen is a writer at heart and loves everything about the world of sports. After graduating from West Chester University in '07, a mid-sized school outside of Philly, Gallen is now in production at the National Basketball Association in Secaucus, NJ, so he knows the game inside and out. He writes about everything he can think of in the sports world. Usually not Rugby or NASCAR, but you get the point. He is a resident of Philadelphia and spends time in New York City as well. He is as passionate about writing as he is about Nike Air Max. So comfortable. Don't hesitiate to write him an email on how bad his points-of-view are, or what a moron he is. He loves email. Check out his entire blog at pgsports.blogspot.com.

Hey Patrick, I am set now, but am going to keep this as a monthly column instead of bi-weekly as before. I think it will give more time for fluctuations in the order of the rankings, plus it will kinda be like a monthly recap from the Community leaders as to hoe the season is going. I will send out an excel document next week for you to fill out and send back. It is basically just ranking the teams and adding a few comments if you want. Nothing to extensive. I will take everyones votes and formulate the cumulative ranking of our group and then post it on May 1st as a recap of April.
Thanks for your patience, I guess I should have thought this through more before getting excited a few weeks ago. I have been busy with my other website's work among other things and this kinda hit the back burner. On a side note, whats the word on Rollins in Philly, I am trying to work a fantasy trade for him, but am leary with his injury. Thanks again!

Hey sorry, I've been sidetracked with some stuff and hope to finalize details in the next day or so. I am now leaning toward doing it through email, as the online way was not working how I'd like. Leave me your e-mail address or if you don't want it posted, e-mail me at m_taylor13@yahoo.com. Thanks and I hope to get the first edition of the rankings done for next Monday.

Great, I will sending details soon. Working on doing an online form that we will enter votes into. I am looking at a bi-weekly type column. We would vote on ranking of teams 1-30, AL/NL MVP, Cy Young and Rookie of the Year's. I will tally up totals and present a cumulative overview of all MLB community leaders. If you have any other suggestions feel free to let me know, I am welcome to add/remove topics. Thanks again for participating.

Hey Patrick, I am thinking of doing a Bleacher Report MLB Power Ranking list. I was hoping to use the Community Leaders as the source of votes. It just came to me and its late to start it this week, but would you be interested in being a part of it?

Hey Pat,
Sorry it took me so long to write you back...just a busy week with March Madness and all.
I think it's a brilliant piece. And I totally agree with you: regardless of what you make, managers should play the best roster they have. Great to see someone finally tell it like it is.
Keep the great stuff coming!

Hey Patrick,
I hope you've been enjoying the new and improved Bleacher Report—we're really happy with the feedback we've received so far.
Just thought I'd let you know that next week we'll be launching the site to the world with some public announcements, and thus it'd be great to get a contribution from you between now and Tuesday to make Bleacher Report's launch a success.
Let me know if you need any help with ideas or have questions. Have a great weekend Patrick!
