Hello there. I would be Shaun, I'm 21 years old, and I'm currently studying Sports Writing at Southampton Solent University. The aim is to move into print journalism, hopefully articles on here will help me on my way.
I'm a long suffering Torquay United fan, and have been all my life. You'd think watching a team in the depths of the lower leagues would be painful, but it has its moments. Honest.
I also follow the Plymouth Raiders (UK Basketball), and Hampshire Cricket, but I dont feel the love for them nearly as much as I do for the mighty Gulls. It's more of a casual fling with a girl - you know you dont really love them, but you go along for the ride anyway.
So, enough about me, why Bleacher Report?
Well, it seems like an intelligent kind of place, and a place where the critisism and help you recieve is constructive. Which is a big help for me, being an aspring journalist.
I know I'll make mistakes, and my articles will be far from perfect - but hopefully places like this will help me hone my craft, so to speak.
I plan on writing about Football (or soccer, whatever floats your boat) - but if I can help it, I'll be avoiding the 'Big 4'. God knows they get enough coverage already.
I might throw a few tennis articles in there as well, and maybe the odd random sporting one in there, seeing as I do love most sports.
Oh, and last but not least, my personal blog can be located at http://shaunicus.blogspot.com - where I comment on various sporting issues that interest me. So feel free to have a read of that, and double my pitiful viewing figures.
So please, read on, comment, and enjoy. Or just read.
I am hoping you have time to read my new piece.
Thank you so much,
Xeno

Hi Shaun,
I am your 11th fan now.
The US Open Draw was released earlier today. I've analyzed the Men's draw, in addition to the Top Ten players' form and recent performance, and made some projection in an unconventional way.
Check it out. I am sure you'll like it.
Thank you so much,
