About

Former writer for Sky Sports, which meant covering everything from darts to Division 2 of the County Championship. My field of expertise in terms of cricket is taking wickets with full bungers. Overcoming a nasty case of the yips, so still haven't given up hope of making it just yet.

Big boxing fan, so have been extremely fortunate to meet and interview so many fighters and get paid for the privilege. Have a fascination with American sports and salary caps and a desire to write a book (on something).

Rob - it's hard to take your columns seriously if you are referencing Scott Gilfoid. Have you actually read any of his "work?" The guy has zero boxing knowledge, zero credibility and might be the biggest hack around. Do yourself a favor- learn from this mistake, and stay away from anything that guy writes... it's absolute, unadulterated garbage.

Ah, of course. Once I had "hands" in my head, that was the only thing I could think about. Feel free to pop back in to the article to add it. Thanks for your efforts!

    Hello Mr Rob Lancaster,
Just saw your some of the great pieces about boxing. The latest article of yours "Ranking the 5 Biggest Wins of Amir Khan's Professional Career to Date" got my attention and loved it too.. :-)

I am not a big fan of boxing like yours but I am a die hard fan and follower of cricket sport. Love to read and write about cricket through my website. Also like to discuss about cricket with some good people like you.

I am really disappointed with one thing in your profile is that you haven't come with single piece about the newly launched T20 cricket league i.e. 'Masters Champions League'.

Hopefully you come with some excellent piece on it.

    Thanks,
    Aman Bansal
