My interest in F1 has been life-long, and I follow football (soccer) to a lesser extent.

I just remembered the latest thing that irritated me about Hamilton's arrogance: prior to Melbourne, he had the ego to say that the press would have an easy weekend because he was planning to stay out of sight. I take it the implication is that Hamilton alone is worthy of press interest. Personally, when he's not driving he's the most boring person in F1. When he is driving... okay, he's fierce and fast.
Good to see you again Salty Dog.

hi Duncan. I liked your article about 2010 f1 season. The new rule that tyres from Q3 must be used for the start of each and every race is a stupid decision because teams may not want to be too competitive in Q3 at the exepnse of having worn tyres for the start of the race, especially with the new heavy fuel tanks. This upcoming season is excieitng and it looks more competitive with the other new rules, but this tyre rule is unproductive. There may be a way round the things that i mentioned that the teams have thought about already. The races will not be affected though and will be closer than last year. Racing through team strategy is very dull.
