Anthony's Bio
I'm a Double Domer with a strong interest for Fighting Irish football. I specialize in the numbers, meaning I track statistics and the schematic chess matches that go on during the games. I also write editorials about whatever piques my interest. Finally, I have my own college football computer ranking system which can be found at http://ClashmoreMike.com where I write.

Anthony,
Nope, your Notre Dame running game article was perfect in the things our staff editors look for: spacing, punctuation, and other various small style issues. So, I didn't have to change a thing, just rated it and made sure it had the right tags before pushing it through the queue. You may have done this already, but if you're ever unsure about changes to your article, you can go to your article's history and click "show changes" which will highlight anything done to it.
That said, keep up the great work, it's always nice to find well-formatted articles.

People are responsible for what they write. Ever read this one. Never made it to Bleachers. http://msn.foxsports.com/other/story/8527540/10-most-delusional-fan-bases
I think I ran across it on MSN Sports when looking at articles there.

Wow, I took a look at your season analysis of the Notre Dame Offense on your site. That is very impressive. Well done. I am trying to do something similar looking at all NFL offenses. It is a work in progress, but I am finding a trend that is not necessarily the effectiveness of the running game as much as strictly an effort to run the football that seems to point to success.

Still does not change the fact that Notre Dame lacks the talent to win. In this day and age of football if you can play as a freshman you will see the field. Georgia and Alabama both have a ton of freshman players that played huge roles for them this year. Notre Dame will continue to be 7-5. Its what they are now.

I am not buying the one class away thing. Alabama has had the same recruiting classes come in and are number one in the country. Average freshman and sophomores do not make superstar juniors and seniors. The truth is unless Notre Dame joins a conference, they will continue to struggle.

It was chance?? I predicted 7 games and went 5-2. Only loses were Navy (barley) and Syracuse (which nobody would have called). I said UNC had too many playmakers and they did. Said Pitt would run it down your throat and they did. Said USC would win big and they did. Good teams find ways to win close games and Notre Dame does not have the talent to do so. They are closer to the talent level of Syracuse and light years behind the talent at USC

How could I not draw those conclusions when I did? It was five weeks into the season, you should be able to tell apart the teams that are really good and which teams are a product of easy schedules.

Anthony,
I has come to my attention that Notre Dame is 6-6 just like I predicted. Amazingly all the people that said I was wrong and was stupid have quited. Why do you think that is?

I've also heard Latina came w/ a great rep from Ole Miss. Do you think it has to do more with the ability of the guys up front? There are plenty of plays where the technique seems fine, they are just physically gettting beat. One thing that I think is an issue is the various schemes that are used and changed week to week. My experience has been the less olineman have to think the better. A lot of times, especially in the interior three, there seems to be a lot of confusion as to who is supposed to chip to the backer.
