I root for the Bulls, Cubs, Bears, and Hawks in that order. I grew up with Winters and Springs exploding out of my seat watching MJ dominating the NBA and long summer afternoons home from school listening to Ron Santo's relentless optimism. Like most Chicago sports fans will tell you, your allegiance is in your blood. Cubs or Sox, Bears or Packers is handed down to you with your last name. I come from a long line of guidos screaming at the TV. I talk with as much passion about how Joakim Noah is a pioneer at the Center as my grandpa did about Mike Ditka at Tight End in the 60's. I've played a myriad of sports either in high school or club teams in my youth. Nowadays it's just 16" softball, disc golf, and buckling fools with my devastating wiffel skills. I am a farmer for a living, but it's not what you think. I have an organic, sustainable agricultural farm that has the healthiest soil and most delicious veggies you'll ever see. We do a lot of R&D with different techniques and work with local schools on field trips to teach kids/parents about eating healthfully and cooking with fresh seasonal produce.
