Dave Nichols is a credentialed member of the media covering the Washington Capitals. He is the author of two blogs, Capitals News Network and Nationals News Network. He also covers the Washington Nationals and Washington Capitals for DCSportsBox.com.

Early in his career he spent four years in radio, working for the Baltimore Orioles, Washington Redskins and University of Maryland radio networks.

Dave is a season ticket holder for the Washington Nationals and Washington Capitals, and his wife, Cheryl, is an accomplished amateur sports photographer specializing in baseballand hockey.
