I thoroughly admire your tenacity! I'm not sure how you found that piece in my archive, but you quoted me exactly and I stand by my words: Woods remains and is now indeed the most talented player in the game once again. I'm not afraid to admit that, and I'm glad that I'm wrong for the sake of Tiger. I'll be happy to admit it as well. Thank you for calling me on my words, and I appreciate your feedback.
One thing about the nature of being a sportswriter: you are forced to be a reactionary thinker. On June 17 of last year, Woods did not look like he was going to regain his form. In my "Breaking News" column of which I submitted for the "Trends N Topics" team here at B/R, that was the piece that made sense that day. I also admire your faith to Woods, and am glad that you were able to keep cheering him on even in his fall from grace. With thanks to fans like yourself, Woods was able to keep his determination and eye on the goal at hand.
I am proud to admit that he has now regained his elite style of play. It will certainly be a burden off his back, and the back of his fans across the world. Certainly, he will sleep easier at night given his redemption from his recent past.
If I can find the time, I will write an article and dedicate my apology to you. Congratulations on the achievement of Woods. I certainly admit that I am wrong.
